Homeschool Horsemanship Program
Our homeschool horsemanship program offers students a chance to connect with horses, nature, and each other in a structured, educational setting. Lessons are held on weekday mornings and early afternoons to fit homeschool schedules. Sessions include a variety of traditional academic topics in conjunction with equine and farm life activities including horse safety, grooming, equine assisted learning, hands-on barn learning and culminating in riding instruction.
Riders progress at their own pace in a positive, encouraging environment.
Ages 6–14
Small class sizes divided by age, certified, and friendly instructors.
Great for homeschool PE, life science, or enrichment.
Among the topics:
- Science (Riding healthy horses, biology of horses and horticulture)
- Math (horse measuring and weighing, economics of horse ownership)
- History (history of horses and traditions of breeds)
- Physical Education (riding and conditioning for riding)
- Social Studies (Herd Dynamics)
- Literature (horses in books and film)
- Art (crafts, drawing and painting horses)
- Good Citizenship
- Equine First Aid and Safety
